Bend Yoga is a yoga studio located on the Downtown Mall that focuses on supporting women during their child-bearing years. Bend offers classes for mothers from 12 weeks pregnant through the pre-crawling period after their baby is born. Bend also offers non-competitive and stress-free classes for children 6 weeks to 18 years of age. Posture Studio understands how tiresome daily tasks can be for the human body, and therefore they focus on functional-based training. The classes offered at Posture Studio aim to strengthen our bodies for what they do daily. In addition to this, Posture Studio’s instructors take an individualized approach in their classes. That means that you will never hear general directions for the entire class; instead your instructor will speak directly to you in order to help you personally get the best out of your session. FlyDog Yoga is a yoga studio that places a heavy focus on community and happiness. After Charlottesville was recently named the happiest city in America, FlyDog Yoga made it their goal to help the Charlottesville community become even happier. FlyDog offers a variety of practices that are designed to open the heart and improve well-being through a combination of exercise and relaxation. Hot Yoga Charlottesville now has two locations around Charlottesville, one downtown and a new one in northern Albemarle County. Hot Yoga specializes in active yoga classes in their cutting-edge, 1,700 square foot hot room where the heating system pumps in fresh air from outside, filters it, heats it, and humidifies it before dumping it into the studio. A whole-room humidifier keeps the humidity level between 35%-41% so that you are guaranteed to come out of a class feeling rejuvenated. Insight Meditation Community of Charlottesville
Insight Meditation Community of Charlottesville (IMCC) is a spiritual community that practices Buddhist insight meditation. IMCC is open to everyone who is interested in insight meditation and offers a variety of programs for new and experienced meditators. These programs consist of guided meditation, dharma talks, retreats, talk radio, and much more. Anyone and everyone interested in trying meditation for the first time is welcome to join IMCC to see what insight meditation is all about.

Brazos Tacos is located right on the festival grounds in the IX Art Park, and offers Texas-style tacos for breakfast, lunch, brunch, and early dinner. Brazos offers outdoor seating with a nice thematic aesthetic and caters private events. Order online, call it in, or just stop by the restaurant to enjoy some unique, authentic Texas-style tacos. Since it is so close, be sure to grab a bite to eat in between sets.

Maru is a funky, authentic Korean restaurant that began in 2018. Maru offers Korean fried chicken wings, lunch specials, Korean specialty drinks, and desserts. Extreme Pizza is located in Charlottesville at 5th Street Station, and their business philosophy is “Dedication to Quality, Commitment to Innovation.” Extreme Pizza abides by a strict policy to only use the freshest of ingredients while pushing the limits with their unheard-of combinations of toppings. One of their pizzas combine mandarin oranges with canadian bacon (Paia Pie), while another one replaces tomato sauce with homemade hummus. Mochiko Cville is the brainchild of chef and owner Riki Tanabe, and is located in The Yard at 5th Street Station. Riki was born and raised on the island of O’ahu, Hawaii and also attended college at the University of Hawaii. He never planned on leaving Hawaii, but his culinary career path eventually landed him in Charlottesville. So in 2017 Riki decided to open Mochiko in order to bring the food of Hawaii to the people of Charlottesville. Named after Riki’s favorite food growing up, the mochiko chicken that his grandmother made, Mochiko Cville serves truly authentic Hawaiian food. Mochiko also caters and can often be found as a pop-up eatery around town and at City Market on Saturdays. Mochiko are happy to offer 10% off for festival attendees during the weekend of the festival.

Sultan Kebab offers unique, authentic Turkish Cuisine in the heart of Charlottesville. With two owners Gokhan Dikmen and Serhat Peker both being from Turkey, Sultan Kebab’s food options are direct recipes from their Turkish families and their studies of the culture. Turkish Cuisine was at its finest during the Ottoman Dynasty, and the Ottomans placed high standards on quality and freshness of produce and preparation. Dikmen and Peker aim to maintain these same high standards at their restaurant in Charlottesville.
